Learn more about your impact
You can help historically underrepresented and disadvantaged students not only start on the right foot at ASU but also continue on the path to graduation and career success.
For example, Marshall was raised by a single mother in a small, rural community. As part of his Sun Devil experience, Marshall was able to participate in the Latino Heritage Internship Program, which helps Latino students experience career opportunities at the National Park Service. In the program, he was able to apply his history degree to a real-world setting and see how his studies connected to future career opportunities.
Your support of the Advancing Inclusion in The College fund will help students like Marshall gain internship, mentorship and research experiences that motivate them to cross the graduation finish line.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. Thanks to our donors, more than 7,000 ASU students have received upwards of $32 million in scholarships with more than $39 million raised.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
- Important initiatives continue. More than $320 million in new gifts and commitments support ongoing initiatives at ASU.
- The spirit of generosity abounds. In the past year, more than 100,000 individual, corporate and foundation donors stepped forward to help the ASU community.
I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
